Scotland's Personal Hotels is a group of family run independent hotels located all over Scotland. It was formed in 1997 by Mark Linklater and nine hotel owners.
The name Scotland's Personal Hotels came about quite naturally: The people sitting around the table were owners of hotels in Scotland and the one thing they all had in common was offering a personal service thus Scotland's Personal Hotels was launched.
We launched our web site in October 1997 and have been busy adding to it over the past 5 years. Apart from our web site we work in many different fields to promote all our hotels within the group. We started with just 12 hotels in 1997 we are now 46 hotels including 4 in the north of England.
