Description
The Scarsdale Adult School is a continuing education program that offers an enrichment curriculum for lifelong learning. Day and evening courses are offered during the spring and fall. There is a wide choice of intellectually stimulating, recreational, and skill-enhancing courses, lectures and trips. Subjects range from literature, history, music, and science, to computer use, crafts, fitness, cooking, dancing, and bridge.
Established in 1938, the School is an independent, not-for-profit organization chartered by the New York State Board of Regents . There are no prerequisites for attending courses, and no exams. All adults are welcome, regardless of where they live.
