About Sandpoint.com
Eric Skinner originally bought the Sandpoint.com domain name from a company in Boston, Massachusetts and brought it home to Idaho where it belongs. In January 2000, he partnered with a Web Development team to create a site like no other in Sandpoint.
The site has undergone a number of redesigns over the years, but has always featured lots of photographs and information about the area. Eric took many of the photographs used on the site, most notably all of the Aerial Photographs. (Yes, he's a pilot.)
The current design, which was completed in late 2004, was done by Logical Expressions, Inc. The new site is designed to be more search-engine and reader friendly. It has no obnoxious pop-up ads, and even though the site has a lot of photographs of the area, it can still be used by those on dial-up connections.
