My greatest passion in life is now Photography. I pretty much got 'music & radio' out of my system, after spending many years as one of the first professional international club dj's. I was based in Jersey CI and worked in Belgium, Germany, Austria and even Reykjavic, Iceland! This was followed by 16 years 'on-air' as a Broadcaster andProgramme Controller with Radio Wyvern.

I was born in Stourport-on-Severn. After studying 'Photography in Art' at school, I started taking photography seriously around 1983. My main mentor was Peter Tilsley (Ex-Chairman of Pershore Camera Club) - a great photographer and great friend too. Whilst still on the Radio I undertook a good deal of portrait & PR photography - and even a few weddings!

In September '98 I started Sammy Southall Photography full-time and have just celebrated my seventh highly successful year. In that time I have become a qualified member of "the MPA" Master Photographers Association and The Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers. I've covered hundreds of weddings, PR and portrait shoots. I work from my fantastic professional studio at my home in Kidderminster, where I've lived for 20 years. I strive to offer the best and most creative work I can do - with top quality at a fair and competitive price. Giving top quality and good value has aways been very important to me.
