Description
Many Germans who like dancing, especially enjoy the latin dances because these are so full of rhythm and emotion. Through dancing they get to know the Latin music, especially Salsa and Merenge. Basically with me it was similar.
I always loved the music influenced by the people and rhythms of Africa. Back in the seventies I was a fan of Soul and Funk, the Black music in USA. Do you remember Earth, Wind and Fire, the masters of Funk and Soul? Also it was the decade of the Disco fever. I liked disco music and dancing. At the same time I enjoyed Ballroom dancing for many years. I also was member of a group which performed Charleston. :-) In the eighties I tried Afro dance as well as Jazz dance.
Now I like most the Salsa dancing, especially the Cuban type of dancing Salsa. I love to dance "Rueda de Casino". We formed a dance group which performs Ruedas and little Salsa-Shows.
