Bob Davids Chapter of SABR
Description
The Bob Davids Chapter of The Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) is the Mid-Atlantic regional group. The Chapter comprises over 500 SABR members in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and parts of Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Local members of SABR, join forces in keeping with SABR's formal objectives. Currently, the Bob Davids Chapter has an annual meeting in the winter and a ballpark outing each Spring or Summer. All meetings are open to the public.
The Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) was founded in 1971 and now has nearly 7,000 members worldwide. SABR members include anyone who loves and is interested in the history of baseball.
