It was founded by Mister Wa Fathaveeporn who is now 74 years old. Born in Hainan (China) he lived all his life in Koh Samui with his wife, Mrs Somboun Suksom, born and bred in the island. Mister Wa was a fisherman. While he was at sea his wife stayed at home to educate their nine children.
More or less 25 years ago the first foreigners arrived in Koh Samui. This is when Mister Wa, his wife and their children started to build a few bamboo huts and bungalows to welcome the first backpackers and hippies.
Nowadays it's Ti, the youngest daughter of the household , and her Belgian fiancé Alexander Andries, who graduated in Tourism and Hotel Management in Brussels, who will welcome you in an extraordinary transformed place. Indeed, during the past five years, this young couple, full of new ideas, changed the somewhat old-fashioned place into a modern, contemporary and quite unique boutique tropical resort.
