- Ryan Block is the managing editor of Engadget, a web magazine covering consumer electronics and technology. In addition to appearing to speak at Engadget events and co-hosting a weekly podcast, Ryan is also a contributor to Joystiq, and has written for Business 2.0, and appeared on G4’s Attack of the Show. Ryan was also named one of Paper Magazine’s Beautiful People, 2006, and has been quoted in Business Week and the New York Times. Prior to Engadget, Ryan worked in network engineering for tech firms and dotcoms before returning to his education in writing and philosophy at the New School in New York. He currently resides in San Francisco, California.
