Ever since I met my first cocker in 1990 (and my husband), I have been hooked on them (and him) ever since.
I was a vet tech at the Flint Animal Emergency Clinic when this buff and white cocker was brought in for adoption. She had this long top knot that parted in the middle so I called her Karlee as in Carlee Simon.
Not knowing much about the standard at that time, I thought My next cocker was a good representative of the breed and the next so I bred "Pet" cockers for a number of years with the help and advice of my veterinarian who was a good friend and mentor.
