RCPro started as a small Roller Coaster Tycoon site back in design version 1, on a small server host in October, 2000. As the site grew, so did the fans, especially after RCPro Version 3.0 was launched in January 2001. News coverage, RCT Real Park designs, and Pro Designs were among the latest additions to the site, setting it apart from any other coaster site on the net. Later in 2001, RCPro Version 4.0 was launched with a fresh new look, but still the same great site. 4.0 allowed RCPro staff to add interactive features such as Forums, Guess The Coaster!, and more. Another popular addition to the site in 2001, were the Coaster Videos: short videos of roller coasters from around the world, featuring cool special effects, and music. The site grew even bigger, and knowing the competition, the Webmaster designed an even more comprehensive design: 5.0. RCPro is currently in its 6th design, and still growing. With over 1,000 photos in our popular Photo Gallery, new articles, and the classic Pro Design competition, which has been around since the beginning, RCPro is one of the most comprehensive Amusement Park sites on the net. Thanks to all the fans who have helped make this site a great one!
RollerCoasterPro.Com is officially its own server. We cannot predict what the future may have in store, but there are currently ideas being tossed around, such as the opening of another site, site hosting & email possibilities, and a database of some sort. As long as the motivation, interest, and most importantly- the fans continue to grow, the site can only grow too.
