- In my early teens I was far from what you would call popular. No image, no confidence, few friends. By 16 I decided that I needed to change but I wasn't sure where to begin. So I unconventionally went to the book store and bought a copy of Dale Carnegies "How to Win Friends and Influence People.". By the end of that school year I threw a house party where over 100 people showed up and was talked about at school for a week, and my few friends grew into a crowd.
