- Knowing that there were living in our community a number of professional theatre artists with few opportunities to present their work locally, we began dreaming of an annual season of plays that would showcase these artists.
As a result, the Riverrun Theatre Co. was founded in Madison, Indiana, in 2003.
We believe in investing in our community in hiring, in education, in cooperative projects with other businesses and in philanthropy, and we hope for our work to be valued by those outside our community as well--so we are committed to sharing our work wherever it may attract an audience upstream or down.
