The Research Launchpad Project is the brainchild of Ric Shreves, whom many people in Asia remember as the person who introduced them to Internet Research. Starting in 1998, Ric began running Internet Research courses first in Hong Kong, then in Shanghai, Guanzhou, Bangkok, and elsewhere in the region. The courses covered a range of skills, from basic research to specialized Business Intelligence and Legal Research. Over the years, the courses have been attended by literally thousands of people.
