Starting in 1967, when Renda and Voynick played high school basketball together, their lives have paralleled. After law school, each worked for separate firms, providing defense work for corporations in personal injury cases. When they formed their partnership in 1986, they were mutually pleased to switch to the plaintiff perspective.
