Quantum Tours began as an offshoot from their original dental seminar company, Quantum Communications, International. Dr. Todd Vogel and his wife, Pattie Mullane-Vogel had developed a successful seminar company, speaking to dentists around the country about what the needs and desires of patients are, and how to best meet them. But they realized early on that dental care was not really about teeth and how to fix them; but it was more about people and how to better take care of them.
So, from the earliest beginnings of their total patient care, and the feeling that all people want to be treated as individuals with understanding; coupled with their love for travel, the genesis of Quantum Tours began. They began by taking small groups of people to their favorite country, the land of their ancestors; Ireland. With the success of these earliest trips, Todd and Pattie began to expand their tour business, now also touring Scotland, and New Zealand, with ocassional visits to other South Pacific Islands. These creators of the company still continue to develop each itinerary, as well as lead each and every tour personally, with the same care as they've shown their patients for over 20 years.
Pattie, born in Kansas City, Missouri has always been a people lover, which served her well in her many pursuits. She met Todd while he was in dental school and she was in dental hygiene school at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, in the 1970's.
