queerplanet was first established in Sydney, Australia in 2002 as a purely entertainment style online magazine.It now has 4 main international sites, all with teams and 4 affiliated service sites. It had grown to cover all aspects and opinons of queer culture and lifestyle.
The queerplanet network is a non profit, volunteer based organisation. It's mission is to provide creative outlets and opportunities for the GLBT community of all ages to help them find and develop skills they never knew they had, in a safe environment. It also endeavours to raise money and bring attention and awareness to worthy charities through fundraising and dance parties around the world.
Our mission is also to nuture and develop role models and to intervene where necessary where there are people at risk. queerplanet does not endorse pornography and there is no pornography on any of the queerplanet websites, we believe that there is enough websites online at this time that provide that service and we want a site that can be entertaining an informative and a safe place to visit.
