- Daisy Hill began about 12 years ago when my daughter Rebecca was given the most adorable cock-a-poo puppy you've ever seen. She was the image of Lady from Lady and the tramp and so of course Lady she became. At the time we were raising Alaskan Malamutes, and had been for about 10 years. As much as we loved our mals, we knew with the kids and our busier schedules we just weren't giving them the time and attention that every dog deserves. We placed all of our Mals out into homes, and resigned ourselves to being a one dog family. Then our son decided that he wanted his own dog, and we welcomed Tonka, a cock-a-tzu ( no I didn't sneeze!) into our home. Tonka wormed his way into our hearts, and , and eventually he and Lady got together and produced the sweetest puppies. We sold them easily, and the kids split the money and once again we were back in the puppy business!
