Welcome and thank you for visiting us! My name is Caroline and I'm the one behind pullmystring.net. I found Blythe through a good friend of mine back in march 2004. I bought my first two blythes from her. With my addictive personality, my blythe family QUICKLY grew. Two weeks after buying my first two blythes, I bought two more, and two weeks later, I bought another two more. They seem to just keep coming in pairs! :)
Fortunately for me, my fiance, Jonathan, got involved with collecting blythes too and bought many rare blythes that I would not have been able to afford on my own. His first purchase was for four relatively rare blythes and a week later, another four! And that was the quick start to our large blythe family. He doesn't play with them, but enjoys collecting them (which works out PERFECT for me). ^_^ Our blythe family has grown to over 40 now (some still in box though *ducks*).
At the time I was introduced to blythe, I had been sewing and selling people clothes. It seems only natural for me to start sewing blythe clothes, but I actually struggled at first because I was so used to sewing people clothes. I started working while in grad school and my sewing came to an immediate hault. The break ended up being good for me because when I started sewing dolly clothes again, everything just came natural for me. The process of micro-sewing suddenly became easy and automatic!
