Our daughter, who loved living in other cultures, later worked as a volunteer in Bangladesh. She and our much loved Australian born granddaughter and father - Ali (a doctor from Bangladesh) - now live in Australia.
We have always loved travel and other cultures, as well as adventure, freedom and independence. These passions were fulfilled for many years through our work as commercial pilots.
Preferring freedom to security and a superannuation that is controlled by others we followed the work and lived in many parts of the world. After years as sports parachutists we became commercial pilots and flew solo and multi-crew (including ferry flights) throughout Europe, Papua New Guinea, the remote Marshall Islands in the Central Pacific and the USA, as well as in Far Northern Western Australia and Queensland - investing all the while in property to ensure a free and independent self funded future.
