Founded in 1998 by Dr. Nasser Kutkut and Joe Kremer in the shadows of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the company has developed patented battery management technologies that greatly enhance industrial batteries' performance and reliability. The company is the first to offer a complete line of battery management products for the industrial battery market consisting of intelligent and fast battery chargers, advanced battery monitors, and battery equalizers.
Our engineering team has distinct expertise in state of the art battery charging and battery management technologies. Members of the engineering team have worked on some of the leading edge electric vehicle and battery charging engineering projects including the GM Impact/EV1 development program, the HEV future car development projects, and the HEV bus projects nationwide.
The company has developed three key technologies that are pertinent to industrial battery-powered systems. The first is an innovative and patent-pending fast battery charging technology for industrial truck applications as well as a patented high voltage battery charging technology for electric and hybrid electric vehicle applications. The second is a cost-effective and patented battery monitoring technology for logging and tracking industrial battery performance over the battery service life. The third is a patented battery equalization technology that greatly improves battery life and performance.
