- I am a one-woman web design shop. I earned my BA in Liberal Arts from Queens College, CUNY, in 1978. I majored in theatre and minored in math. I trained in NYC to be an actress yet for money, I was hired by a global reinsurance firm in 1978 to input data into an actuarial asset share application designed in APL. Being a self-proclaimed “girl geek,” I had to learn APL and got seduced into learning one of the most powerful programming languages that was ever written.
