Description
The Galliformes
We are dedicated to the conservation not only of the pheasants but of all their relatives as well, and their habitats. The whole family is known as the Galliformes and also includes partridges, quail, grouse and even turkeys.

They are one of the most threatened bird groups in the world, and 75 are listed on the 2004 IUCN Red List of threatened species. A further 33 are considered to be 'Near-threatened' or are so poorly known that we cannot determine their conservation status.
