- Some of my earliest memories are of fishing with my father and being allowed to drive the boat, (as fast as possible). Later, as a high-school teenager, I founded a club with my friends to explore our world through hiking, cross-country skiing, mountain climbing, backpacking and camping in the mountains, and at the ocean, exploring Yosemite and other wonderful California locations.
