- One of the greatest blessings anyone can hope for is to do what you really enjoy doing. My whole life I have enjoyed when I got the opportunity to sew and decorate. Being able to express who I am through decorating my house has always been a source of pride for me. Even in this day, I am still proud of what my mom taught me and the home economics awards that I won in high school. Since that time, I have been focused on teaching learning disabled children, having obtained a Masters in Education and still to this day, teach part time and get a great joy from seeing the learning process happen before my very eyes. As my balance, I have recaptured my passion for home decoration, and most specifically creating window treatments. I learned my craft through experimenting and creating and re-creating the window treatments in my own house. I feel proud when people say my decorating style and window treatments reflect who I am, saying that “This house looks just like Pam’s house”. Over the years I have created window treatments for various people, and have grown increasingly attached to the process of not only creation of window treatments I am proud of, but have also come to enjoy the interaction with my customers in picking fabric and together creating just the right combination of colors, fabrics, and styles that really make windows come alive. To me there is nothing more exciting than being part of a room that takes on a special beauty and matches the personality of the home and the owner in just the right way. I enjoy it all. I would feel privileged to share that experience with you.
