About Us

Since 1963 Pakistan-Canada Association has been the ‘one’ organization that has served the needs of Pakistanis in the Lower Mainland. We established the first Islamic Center in Western Canada in 1965, located on West 8th Avenue in Vancouver. We continue to organize Free BBQs, Independence Day and Republic Day Celebrations along with Eid Dinners. With the changing dynamic of our population we encourage increased youth involvement through volunteer opportunities and through offering scholarships and youth awards. Our overriding mandate is to celebrate being Pakistani at the same time being a positive force in Canadian society.
