We are a newly built cottage community en route to Trafalgar, facing the village of Morne Prosper. Priding itself on its casual yet elegant buildings and planted grounds, the centerpiece of the estate is a 20'x40' spring-fed swimming pool.
Our cook, Emma, written up in the Orlando Sentinel, will prepare gourmet meals to your specifications, vegetarian or using free-range chickens and goat, fresh fish, as well as fruits and vegetables organically grown on the property. We have an abundance of root vegetables, yams, dasheen and potatoes. These are all very helpful for women in change of life.
The building project was designed with loving care and a view to making everyone comfortable. Although Oliver is Dominican by birth, he spent 38 years in the United States. When he brought Rachel to Dominica in 1995, she fell in love with the island and they began to repatriate in 1998. In 2002, Rachel became a Dominican citizen. Because they are an interracial couple, they tap both the culture of Dominica and the sophistication of the first world.
