About The Crown Group
The Crown Group is a comprehensive collection delivering an effective range of hospitality, catering and events companies, remaining solidly independant and privately owned. Starting life in 1978 as a well-formed collection of higly trained and qualified chefs, who went onto form an agency that supplied local caterers with relief chefs. The business grew and soon two distinct catering companies were born; Crown Venue Catering (recently re-branded as Kudos) and Crown Society Special Event Caterers (recently re-branded as Seasoned Events) both of which would go onto cater for some of the largest events and clients in London, one of which being The Royal Family.

Crown Venue Catering was formed in 1981 and it was not until recently that it became Kudos Hospitality as part of a major re-brand by its parent company The Crown Group. By focussing on achieving excellence for our clients, we have grown to become the leading independant contract caterer in our market. Kudos has a number of lucrative contracts that involve catering for many prestigious venues across London and the UK, one such venue is Central London Venue, an old banking hall located in the heart of the City of London. Another such venue is Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, where Kudos cater for all events held at their White Hart Lane Stadium, plus all matchday hospitality catering.
Other major types of veues include conference and exhibition centres, sporting hospitality stadiums, museums, galleries and attractions, leading professional bodies and institutes, principle meeting, lecture and seminar venues, primary arts and leisure sites, key training and learning centres, banqueting halls.

Seasoned Events
Formerly known as Crown Society Special Event Caterers, it was not until 2007 that the company was given a re-brand and became Seasoned Events. For over 25 years, Seasoned Events have provided highly regarded award winning catering for special events all over London. Meeting and conference centres, major tourist attractions and a stronghold in London's historic Livery Halls are just a few venues you will find seasoned expertise. With the exception of the Livery Halls, Seasoned Events operate as one of a number of caterers for specific venues and events, unlike its sister company Kudos Hospitality, whom operate as the sole and permanent caterers at specific venues.

Midsummer House
Midsummer House is a beautiful restaurant in Cambridge set right next to the River Cam on the Midsummer Common. A handsome Victorian villa converted to an award winning restaurant on serveral floors. The French Mediterranean cuisine designed and propriated by Head Chef Daniel Clifford, has received numerous awards but none more significant than the two Michelin Stars it received by 2006, which places it into an elite club of restaurants.
Every year Daniel Clifford travels Europe in search of inspiration for his next dish and style of food, and to prevent food boredom, the menu is changed on a regular basis, offering customers unique dishes and food experiences. The Headley
One of the most recent editions to The Crown Group, The Headley is a traditional British restaurant and pub with a distinctive twist in its cool, comfortable and elegant surroundings. LeisureXtra
LeisureXtra was launched by The Crown Group to extend it's reach into the sports and leisure market. Having been awarded a lucrative contract to manage the cafe, bar, function and vending facilities of 75 leisure centres across the UK, The Crown Group decided to handle it via a new organisation.

The Event Hire Company is one of the youngest within The Crown Group, yet still provides the first class service needed to smoothly prepare an event. All of the furniture and equipment is fully maintained by a specialist team, delivered to the event venue, installed and then removed after the event has finished.

Piggotts
Founded in 1780 during the reign of George III, Piggott Brothers started trading in the City of London at No.10 Old Jewry. We moved to larger premises in Cripplegate in 1841 and then to Bishopsgate in 1862.
Since 1970 we have been based at our eleven acre site near Ongar, Essex. We entered the new millennium by becoming a member of the distinguished Crown Group of companies and through this association we have re-established a City office, again in Bishopsgate.
Piggotts is split into three main divisions:
The flags division supply a massive range of national flags, corporate flags and sports flags; flag poles made from a number of different materials; bespoke Cafe Barriers; and windsocks of all sizes.![]() |
The Marquee Hire London division supply marquees of all shapes and sizes for a variety of events across the UK. Previous clients include the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Buckingham Palace and The BBC.
The Christmas Lighting division supply seasonal decorations to towns, shopping malls and public events. Piggotts have been supplying the Christmas decorations to London's world famous Oxford Street and Regent Street for over 70 years.

Omniforce
Omniforce is The Crown Group's Internet Marketing department. Electronic and Internet Marketing are Omniforce's speciality area, where they provide strategic online marketing planning to businesses and venues. Expertise in Search Engine Optimization, Pay-per click (PPC) advertising, website design and development.
Omniforce are responsible for the design, development and marketing for all of The Crown Group companies' websites, which include London's Flying Chef and Venue Reservations.

Gibson Hall
Located in the heart of the City of London, the Gibson Hall has impeccable credentials as one the finest banqueting and conference venues in London, a fact recognised by being a recent winner of the Corporate Events Association's Award of Venue of the Year.

The Hall, named after its architect John Gibson, was completed in 1865 for the National Provincial Bank of England and was the greatest of the City's banking halls, reflecting the classical Victorian elegance prevalent of the time.
Today, The Crown Group own the venue and with their vast experience in the events industry, can transform the venue into wonderful events. Once such occasion was the 2006 Soccer World Cup launch party in early 2006, to celebrate it being world cup year.
