Midsummer House is a beautiful restaurant in Cambridge set right next to the River Cam on the Midsummer Common. A handsome Victorian villa converted to an award winning restaurant on serveral floors. The French Mediterranean cuisine designed and propriated by Head Chef Daniel Clifford, has received numerous awards but none more significant than the two Michelin Stars it received by 2006, which places it into an elite club of restaurants.
Every year Daniel Clifford travels Europe in search of inspiration for his next dish and style of food, and to prevent food boredom, the menu is changed on a regular basis, offering customers unique dishes and food experiences. Midsummer House has always been a part of The Crown Group, and the food that Daniel Clifford and his team produces often inspires the Group's other catering companies, such as London's Flying Chef and Missing Ingredients.
Midsummer House also has a relaxing out door terrace and garden in which to gain some peace and quiet throughout the summer months.
