- Nintendo-Scene was created out of necessity. Mostly limited to little off-topic forums scattered about the internet, Nintendo consoles have rarely received their fair share of the limelight in terms of the modification community. When the Wii launched it was clear that the console was going to propell Nintendo back into a leading marketshare position in the console race. Xbox-Scene, the premier website for the Xbox, Xbox 360 and PS3 modification community made it clear that they were not interested in adding the Wii, or any other Nintendo console scene as an equal part in their community. Nintendo-Scene was borne out of the desire to create a community with the same ideals and driving force as Xbox-Scene to accomidate and push forward the Nintendo modification community.
