- The National Black Leadership Roundtable (NBLR) is the national network vehicle of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC). Founded in 1977, the Roundtable is composed of the chief executive officers of more than 200 national African-American organizations in eighteen (18) categories who meet twice a year to develop and implement collective initiatives that support the public policy agenda of the Congressional Black Caucus. The CBC consists of the now forty-three (43) African-American legislators who serve today in the U.S. House and Senate.
