Since 1997, nbdinz.com has been providing laughs to people that appreciate humor on the sarcastic and dirty side. nbdinz.com has seen over three million hits since the beginning of it's life.
The inspiration came back in 1997, when I first discovered web publishing. Instead of creating some free site on GeoCities (which was a stand alone service back then, and not part of Yahoo!) I decided to create a top level domain and build a site full of nonsense.
nbdinz.com got off to a very slow start until December, 1998 when four webcams were launched around my house. There was a small fee involved ($4.95/month) to view the webcams. There was one in the kitchen, one in the hallway, one in the living room, and another in the office. No, there were no "shows". Viewership grew and grew from there and several new features were added to keep people coming back. At the height of it's existence, "webcam centre" brought in about $900 a month, which went back into the site. A nearly dormant account still lives at a San Diego area USBank with the name "nbdinz.com fund".
