Nativehockey.com is a volunteer site devoted to the promotion of Indigenous hockey in North America. It is run and funded entirely through volunteer efforts, so we are often not able to keep as up to date as we would like. Our future goals include obtaining official non-profit status and work towards gaining funding, sponsoring events and coordinating efforts to support up-and-coming Native hockey players.
Nativehockey.com relies entirely upon testimony from players, family members and others in the Native community for verification of Native/tribal affiliation with the sole purpose of promoting the development and success of hockey players with indigenous ancestry. Nativehockey.com does not specialize in genealogical research and makes no claims to have the definitive heritage of any listed player
