My name is Diana Edwards and I have just graduated in the June of 2005. I'm currently uping my high school grades, in preparation for University next year. Mystic Rabbitry has only just begun, but has to be paused while I complete my studies. I will continue raising bunnies after I graduate :)
Mystic Rabbitry was started in the summer of 2002 by me. It all started out with one pet bunny. About January in 2001 I walked by a pet store display and saw the cute bunnies. I looked at them longingly. I had never been able to have pets, my mom was allergic to both cats and dogs. I was forced to have fish. I had always loved animals. Well I talked to my mom later about how I wish I could have one, and she floored me by saying "Well, I never said you couldn't have a bunny" So it was arranged, my mom made me wait for 6 months,to make sure I was really wanted a bunny. I waited for about 5 months driving my mom crazy with bunny talk, then she relented and I got my pet. A cute dwarf hotot mismark.
We named her Maybelline. I looked into showing her, I was crushed when I realized she couldn't be shown. She wasn't purebred, and I had no idea what breed she was, I figured out that she was a dwarf hotot mutt, since she came from a petting farm.
