- I must confess that recently, I’m having a bit of an identity crisis. I adopted the name “SuperMom in Training” because at the time, it was a perfect description of my role in this family. I had a full-time job and was attempting to be a full-time mother. Recently, I have had the opportunity to cut my working hours down to part-time to spend more time with my daughter, and although I’m definitely still “in training” with this whole motherhood thing, I’m not sure that the term SuperMom fits anymore - at least not in its truest definition. I’m not completely recanting it, however, because this part-time situation looks as though it’s only going to be temporary. So in the meantime, I’m setting aside my SuperMom status and instead just striving toward being a super mom.
