- The MyBB Games ‘06 was first introduced in 2005 by Bobby via the name ‘The Guessing Game’. The game was aimed in providing something for users to do, as the slowly ever-growing MyBB Community was becoming restless with the wait of the release of MyBB 1.0 (otherwise known at the time as ‘Gold’). Out of goodwill, Bobby created a game which helped ease the tension between the MyBB Developers and the Community; all the community had to do was guess the release date of 1.0 and whichever user guessed the correct date would win a hosting solution which Bobby also provided through a partnership with iVolve Host. Unfortunately, the Hosting Company’s data server could no longer provide its services and was forced to quickly sell its brand name before the servers closed down. This left participants without any prizes, and the following week, The Guessing Game was closed and all user guesses deleted.
