Sure you can get overall like vs. dislike rating for a film elsewhere but what about knowing how good the acting was, how captivating the music is, how skillful is the editing, how trilling is the action or if the film is entertaining or not. MyMovieNetwork provides the filmmaker with ability based on the roles and type of film to understand exactly where the film succeeds. Individual members of the cast and crew will know what the community things of their work based on the role they partake in the film.
Credit to Cast and Crew
With millions of films in the universe how do you know who worked on the film and who didn’t. MyMovieNetwork is determined to give the credit where credit is due to the cast and the crew that worked on the film. Any project is created by a team and now on MyMovieNetwork the entire team gets the credit for the work.
Scouting
Scouting is a tool where members can define when and where they are available for assignments and for which role. At the same time any member can search for other members to see if they are available to work with them. A common scenario is someone watching a film, liking the camera work or the music in the film prompting the member to look up the cast and crew to see if they are available to work on another project.
Portfolios
Portfolios are a great way to showcase your profile and work in a highly professional manner. On member page and movies page search is enhanced so members can search by length of film, category or if there are certain criteria you’re interested in such as films with ratings or films with cast and crew associated with them. On member page you can enhance the search by looking for users with photos, users with certain number of points, users that are online that the time and other search criteria.
Forums
Community forums are a place for everyone to create discussion topics, learn from each other by posting questions on a specific topic and be answered by the filmmaking community. Members can post messages in different forums and all postings can be seen by anyone else who has access to MyMovieNetwork. Forums are threaded, which means a reply to a particular posting becomes part of the "thread" of that posting that can be followed to provide a cohesive progression through a particular topic.
News/Articles
MyMovieNetwork encourages learning and sharing of knowledge among filmmakers. Filmmakers and provides tools for them to do so.
