A lot of rap stars go broke. A lot of rap stars own pitbulls. Housebroken tells the story of a pitbull rap star who went broke. Now living in suburbia with the family of his attorney, DJ Dog, A.K.A. Doggie Soprano A.K.A. The Notorious D.O.G. struggles to adjust to his new lifestyle.
Launched in January 2003, Housebroken was first published in the Detroit Free Press. Housebroken now appears in 15 newspapers, including the Detroit Free Press, Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and Philadelphia Tribune . We need more newspapers so Steve's mom will get off his back.
Housebroken is the creation of Steve Watkins that started from a rather obscure comic strip he drew while a math major at Howard University.
