Description
Hi, my name is Jeff and welcome to my site dedicated to the wonderful hobby(obsession) of casino chip collecting. Over the years, I have collected many things from coins to Tom Clark Gnomes to Pokemon cards (thanks to my kids!). I must confess that I am a pack-rat and casino chips provide the perfect outlet for my weakness. They don't take up much room, I'm fascinated with them, and they don't need to be dusted!
My wife, Mary Beth, and three kids, Trevor, Conor, and Emma are very supportive in my collecting efforts. The kids get excited when I show them a new chip, and they really get going when I get extra chips to share! I cannot forget our cats, Zelda, Zoe and Zippy. The cats play no favorites...every one of us is subject to sneak attacks in between their naps.
In 2001, we took the kids to Las Vegas. While the lights and action may have been a little intimidating at first, they quickly got used to it and had a great time. Now... we try to do something a bit more "kid oriented" with our vacations, like cave exploring and local travel. However I did make it to Vegas in 2003 for the Annual Chip Collectors Convention, thanks to a round-trip ticket given to me from Mary Beth for my Birthday. Am I lucky or what? What a wonderful wife!
