About Monoppix

It started as one of Jon's weblog post back in April-2004 about how cool a Knoppix/Mono distribution would be. Roiy commented back in May asking Jon what it should include, and they have been corresponding since then. Roiy is focusing on developing the livecd and Jon is doing the job of collecting requirements, writing tutorials, testing, giving feedback and managing the IT stuff (hosting , ftp ...) Perica joined just after the V1.0 release , he redesigned the monoppix web site and currently evaluating the GnomeLiveCD as a platform alternative for Knoppix. Mark neustadt who is the creator of the original Monoppix video tutorials has accepted our offer to join the monoppix team and he is now an official Monoppix team member.
