Minnesota TRiO
Description
Minnesota TRiO is one of eight state chapters that form the Mid-America Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel (MAEOPP). In addition to Minnesota, Minnesota TRiO's member states include Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio and Wisconsin.
Minnesota TRiO has a volunteer Board of Directors, which consists of an Executive Committee, six Standing Committee Chairs, and two Members-at-Large.
Minnesota TRiO is one of ten regional associations that form the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE). COE is a non-profit organization and represents institutions of higher education, administrators, counselors and teachers committed to advancing equal educational opportunity and promoting diversity in America's postsecondary institutions. COE works hard to keep the TRiO community informed about legislative conditions affecting TRiO programs.
