- About Miss Paula Flynn
- A native of Forkhill, Co. Armagh, Paula Flynn began listening to country, folk and bluegrass music when she was just a wee thing. Singing came naturally and she attended Ballyfermot Rock School years later. In recent years the voice has been put to good use accompanying anti-folk hero Jinx Lennon in gigs at home and abroad as well as in the studio. Let's Dance was originally recorded for a laugh but found its way into the hands of Ballygowan advertising executives. The voice did it for them, and it seemed to strike a chord with the punters too. After fielding calls along the lines of "Who's the girl singing the Bowie song?" EMI came on board decided to release it as a single. Miss Paula Flynn is currently studying for her second year communications exams in DCU while also recording her debut album. She's pretty busy.
