Lester Melo, then a 22 year old Kenyan born Goan started Melo Tours in 1994 by driving his father's 4 Wheel Drive Jeep taking 6 to 8 "SOMAK" - UK guests a week on tours.
Today Melo Tours handles over 25,000 European, American and Indian tourists a season on various excursions and tours within Goa, the Golden Triangle (N. India), Kerala, HAMPI (karnataka), Mumbai and various other parts of India.
Our friendly well trained staff along with our high operational standards have kept us on top of the list of the Holiday maker and ahead in our business. We conduct tours in Goa - India on behalf of most of the large Tour Operators from the U.K., the rest of Europe, parts of the USA and also for some of the reputed Travel and Business Houses in India. We have contracts with each and every Foreign Tour/ Charter Company in Goa to operate tours to Hampi, Mumbai (by Train) and Indian Weddings (Renewal of Vows) for their clients.
