MeckPAC is a nonpartisan organization whose mission is to mobilize the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community in Mecklenburg County to vote and participate in elections, to educate our elected officials on issues important to the LGBT community and to hold our elected officials accountable for their votes.
For your convenience, the MeckPAC site can help you register to vote, make better informed decisions on voting in local elections and obtain valuable information on local elected officials and on the local electoral process. Our site also features links to not only local political organizations and offices, but also to allied organizations here in Charlotte-Mecklenburg, statewide and nationally.
One of MeckPAC's premier services has been our Voter Guide, in which we use specific criteria in evaluating local candidates. This guide not only assists Mecklenburg County GLBT voters in the voting booth, but also rewards candidates who support our issues and lets you know about those that do not.
