How We Work
Marcia Meislin, M. Ed., serves as principal consultant and team leader. Depending on the scope and duration of the assignment, she brings in other experienced professionals from her team. MCM works with you to design a customized program to fit your budget and scheduling needs. We provide pre- and post-assessments and assist you in developing mechanisms to track results. Advanced training is available in all areas 3-12 months after initial training programs. After our on-site work is completed, we’re available to you for follow up.

Serving as a catalyst for lasting, in-depth change, we provide you with practical tools to develop the skills to solve every type of performance challenge. We melt resistance with compassion and humor, and create a supportive environment where people feel safe to take risks.
We focus on four major areas, using a blended approach that includes classroom training, one-on-one coaching, simulations, performance consulting, off-sites, large-scale events, motivational speeches, and e-learning/technology.

I: Leadership / Management / Supervisory Development
Topics include how to create a supportive environment, communicate effectively (up, down and across); coach all types of employees; identify “coachable moments”; deliver tough feedback; develop viable action plans; and hold people accountable.
Basic Training Programs:
New Supervisor Training, Middle Management Development, Executive Development, Coaching Skills and Performance Management Training, High-potential Development, 360˚ Feedback, Organizational Effectiveness Consulting, Communication and Presentation Skills.
II. Internal Consulting /Change Management Topics include how to reposition roles to create strategic partnerships; build trust; increase credibility, service and value; and manage resistance to change.

Internal Consulting Skills Training, How to Create a Consulting Organization (e.g., HR, IT, Legal), Facilitating and Managing Change, Managing High-Quality Customer Service.
III. Team-Building and Facilitation
Topics include how to manage remote teams across geographies and time zones; break down silos; establish mentoring relationships; institute peer coaching; utilize diverse behavioral styles; achieve conflict resolution; and develop communication strategies.

Off-Site Meeting Design/Facilitation, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, DISC and other assessments, Mediation for Small-Group Conflicts, Train the Trainers.
IV. One-on-One Coaching
Topics include how to clarify your vision and goals; identify, move past and break through your stuck points; work with difficult colleagues; navigate your career; overcome obstacles; and achieve work/life balance.
