Matthews Point Marina is located in the sheltered waters of Clubfoot Creek, just off the Neuse River and Pamlico Sound. The marina, home to many great sailors and powerboat cruisers, offers immediate access to some of the best sailing and cruising grounds on the east coast of the US.
Operated by the Matthews family since the 1950s, the continually updated marina in this idyllic location quietly recharges the lives of all who visit. The property was originally operated as an old fashioned fishing camp. Jet Matthews completely redeveloped the property into a beautifully landscaped and modern marina in the 1980s. He continues to maintain his residence at Matthews Point even though he has developed the very exclusive and successful Luken’s Island project for sportsmen and investors and in 2004 he very successfully completed redevelopment of the award winning Morehead City Yacht Basin. It has a century of tradition in the finest east coast location and has set a new benchmark for outstanding quality in marina design and development.
We operate and manage two marinas and two yacht sales offices to serve all of your boating needs. Please call us or stop by for a visit. Our two beautiful marinas, Matthews Point Marina and Morehead City Yacht Basin, serve Eastern North Carolina with 200 boat slips, incredible surroundings and great access to fabulous sailing, fishing and boating areas.
