In the lighting sector the Martini Group now consists of Martini S.p.A., established in 1970 in Concordia sulla Secchia in the province of Modena, and Sames S.p.A., which was acquired in 1995 and was moved to the same site from its previous location in Moncalieri (TO).
The Martini production facilities currently extend over a covered area of 13.500 sqm end employ a total workforce of 140 people. The company can also count on the productive and qualitative experience of Martini Timoteo, a company founded in 1925 by the father of the current chairman. Over the years the company has gradually specialized in the technical architectural lighting sector, developing a wide range of professional fixtures that use the most modern light sources. To cater for this new field of application, the company has had to implement global quality control and process uniformity in accordance with ISO 9001 certification.
Martini products have always been famous for attention to detail and a careful selection of materials and finished and are tested in the internal laboratory accredited by IMQ* with procedure S.M.T.**. Particular attention is devoted to verifying compliance with applicable standards and evaluating technical and lighting characteristics. This includes checking the IP protection rating, optimizing the photometric efficacy values and analyzing the flammability values of plastic materials.
