- It was started by Daniel Friedlaender, who resides in San Diego, California. He started it because as an Apple fan, he had watched the live stream of Steve Jobs' speech where he unveiled podcasting as the newest thing for iTunes. He figured that since there were already podcasts on Apple, that were pretty good, that he would do a Nintendo Podcast He had always been a fan of Nintendo. He had simply grown up with Nintendo products, and always bought the new Nintendo games, especially for GameBoy Color. He had simply assumed that Nintendo was the best company around. He obtained a new-found interest in the company during E3 2004, where Nintendo took the wraps off of the Nintendo DS. He had been waiting for a new type of GameBoy anyway. He became a senior news contributer for DSFans.com (now offline). The first episode came out on July 31st, 2005.
