- This is Nikki. We rescued her from an abusive situation where a family had bought her for their teenage son. He abused her so the parents took her away and sent her back to the people they had bought her from. I heard about it and made the long drive from Houston Texas all the way to Kansas City Mo. to meet her. The people had told me that the reason she had hair missing all over her head was because they had a big male spider monkey that had been harrasing her and not letting her eat. He was pulling her hair out and she was very thin looking. I handed them the money and visited with them for a while and played with the Chimp they had there, then we loaded Nikki up and headed back home.
