Maybe Aimee Teegarden brought over just a touch of the quality of Friday Night Lights with her when she guest starred. I was thinking this week about the fact that Jessica Lowndes wasn’t even part of the cast when 90210 was paraded in front of the press this summer and now she’s an integral and crucial part of the show. And I think she’s doing a great job with the part. Her character has had a drug addition, gone to rehab, had an HIV scare, is pregnant and the season isn’t even over yet. With most actresses, this amount of melodrama could quickly make a character highly annoying but I still have a great deal of compassion for Adrianna and I’m really interested in what happens to her next. I think she’s officially the Kelly Taylor of the show (complete with a challenging mom) which is a good thing.
