Founded in April 2004, the International Academy of Film & Television is the premier interactive learning institution in Southeast Asia. Located on the island of Mactan in Cebu, Philippines, this seaside campus offers the latest resources in film production technology, including a Hollywood-style soundstage and state-of-the-art post production facilities.
With a specialized curriculum that combines theory with practical application under the mentorship of leading industry professionals, IAFT works in partnership with Philippine media conglomerate ABS-CBN and has already graduated more than 300 students. In addition to its trademark One-Year Immersion program, IAFT conducts various short-term workshops on skills from animation, editing and underwater cinematography to acting, singing and dancing.
Utilizing its relationship with its parent company, Bigfoot Entertainment, IAFT presents selected students with a unique internship opportunity to apply their newly-acquired skills to actual feature film and television productions, cultivating the highest creative standards in the next generation of filmmakers.
